Abby and I have had a pretty good weekend together. She has had a little cough and has been feeling a little under the weather, but we've been playing with baby dolls, reading books, and even took a trip to the pet store. She's getting to be very independent and puts her cups in and out of the refrigerator by herself. She's been picking up her toys better. And, she actually looks forward to her cough medicine! She's an awesome little girl and I feel lucky to be her mommy. I'm also lucky she has an awesome daddy that thinks she hung the moon!
So, no time outs today. We'll see how she does the rest of the week. She's going to miss her babysitter buddies (Isaiah, Libby, Cason, Emma, Jacob, Rose, and Sammie). Her babysitter had to go out of town and won't be back until the end of the week. Considering she's usually putting her coat on Sunday evening and announcing she'll be back later -- she's going to Mama G's - I think she's going to be lost without seeing them for a week. Hopefully she's on her best behavior when she goes back.
